This site is dedicated to the memory of Leanah Makoni.
Leanah Makoni was born in zimbabwe on November 27, 1944. She is much loved and will always be remembered by all her friends and family. So painful to leave a gap that can never be filled. As your only daughter life is so hard for me because i have lost a mother, a friend and a grandmother to my children. Zimbabwe is so cruel, my mother might have lived if the health resources were still available. My father could not even get an ambulance because phones were not working and no fuel for ambulance to take my mother. God called you mum, you answered, and you died while preparing a table for the priests at church. You died doing the work you loved. Till we meet and i am sure soon. Thoughts
My lovely grandmother, why did you have to leave us so soon?Not a day goes by that i never stop thinking about you, i am left with all the memories we shared together. You will always be in my thoughts , i will never let you go. Somehow i feel that you are always here with me. You know that i love you with all my heart. It hurts me that i never got to say goodbye and to see you for the last time, i still can't accept that you are gone forever. When i hear all my friends talking about their grandmothers it breaks my heart that you are not here. I speak about you everyday. It hurts me seeing my mother like this, i can't even imagine what sekuru is going through, gogo you left him all alone. i know you are in a better place but but you will always be a part of me.
